a Christ-centered event for youth grades 6-12

What is SHEBANG?

Are you in 6th-12th grade?  Do you like to have fun?  Do you like to meet new people?  Are you looking to strengthen your relationship with God?....Then you should check out SHEBANG!

SHEBANG! is a youth retreat for grades 6-12, sponsored by the Central District Youth Ministries Council.  It is a fun-filled weekend of Fun, Skits, Learning about God, Fun, Music, Sharing your faith, Worshipping God, and More Fun!!  This year’s event takes place in Echo, Oregon, February 18-21, 2011.

So…like…how much does this cost?  Here’s the great part…it only costs $50.00. But…if you get your registration in before January 31, 2011, it only costs $40.00! This includes meals while you’re there and a place to crash at night.  Be sure to register early…bed space is limited.  Adults MUST submit a registration.  Due to rising costs, we ask adults to pay the $40.00 registration fee. However, we will accept the $25.00 fee we have charge previously if the full fee causes a burden.

Registration begins Friday, February 18th at 7:30pm at the
Echo Community United Methodist Church .

We will be selling SHEBANG t-shirts.  They are in sizes small, medium, large, and X-large and will sell for $15.00.

Each year we have specially made necklaces which are worn throughout the weekend and then auctioned off in a silent auction on Monday morning.  The money raised from the auction goes to a local community mission project in the host church community.

It is recommended to register through a local United Methodist Church. However, all youth are welcome, regardless of whether or not you attend a church. If you need a ride (youth are not permitted to drive themselves for liability purposes) contact a local United Methodist Church or Doneva Bolen at 541-701-1748.
